New logo and branding for a maternity photographer
This is the new logo and branding for my photography business.
Or an updated logo because only a little has actually changed, even if the old logo differs quite much from the new one. But still with a completely new message.
Let me give you all the info behind this update.

Before, I had pink colors simply because I thought the color looked pretty… Now I have updated the colors to a palette with green and earthy tones.
The reason?
I only photograph outdoors.
And I’m not only photographing outdoors. I promote my sessions as an in-nature experience.
A moment in the forest with birds singing with all emotions is allowed.
This is also the vibe of the new brand colors.
But also, and this is very important when creating a brand for a photographer, that the brand colors work well together and emphasize your photos and editing style.
About the new logo for my photography business
Regarding the logo, I created it 7 years ago when I focused on children and families. Since then, I have niched down, and today I only have maternity sessions.
So by removing the color and changing the font, I have left the cute and playful approach behind (which worked better for children and families) to focus more on sophistication and calmness. Just how a maternity photo session is with me today.

My new branding is updated to where I am today and focuses on delivering a message to attract the clients that want to come and have a moment in peace, listen to the birds in the forest, and only focus on the love for the belly and the happiness in life right here and now.
This is also the difference between DIY your logo and having a brand designer do it for you.
