Kate’s own motherhood journey with her sweet son, who is diagnosed with Down Syndrome is what’s at the center of her new branding.
If you look at Kate’s logo, you will see that the symbol is shaped like a four-leaf clover. This is something Down Syndrome is often associated with. Because, in a clover field, occasionally, you will find one with four leaves instead of three. No one knows why it happens, but when it does, that four-leaf clover is considered special, lucky, important, and worthy.
In her logo, you can also hint embracement—the feeling of someone covering her arms around what’s worth protecting. It symbolizes both the care of a mother and the overall feeling of Kate’s business.
Her own motherhood story and NICU experience are at the center, and they are also the reasons why she now provides a safe space for others who share a similar story of motherhood.
The goal was a Warm and Caring brand
Because of this, the colors in her new branding are selected to evoke a warm and embracing feeling, in contrast to the sterile and cold walls you are surrounded by when spending a lot of time at hospitals.
