From battling a stubborn font to crafting every little detail with love, this project was a true labor of passion and heart. Rachel’s new brand now beautifully reflects her warmth and dedication, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with the world!
The Journey of Creating a Custom Brand for a Family Photographer
Let me tell you, this journey of creating a Custom Brand for Rachel Elisabeth Photography has been quite the ride!
When Rachel first came to me with her vision of a simple, yet distinctive brand for her photography business in Charleston, I knew we were in for something special. The photography scene in Charleston is vibrant and full of talent, so we wanted to create something that would resonate with Rachel’s unique style and approach.
Oh, and let me tell you about this font we worked with – it was a very, very stubborn font that we finally got tamed in true Cowboy (or Cowgirl) style. It was a bit of a Wild West showdown, but in the end, we came out victorious!
The Heart Behind the Showit Website Design
Now, let me tell you about the exciting part where Rachel’s brand really came to life – her website! We used one of my Cathereine Showit template as the foundation, and it turned out to be the perfect starting point for Rachel’s vision.
We worked closely together throughout the design process. It felt like a true collaboration, with both of us contributing our ideas and expertise to shape the final result.
We adjusted colors, fine-tuned layouts, and carefully selected which of Rachel’s gorgeous photos to showcase. Every decision was made together, combining Rachel’s artistic eye with my design experience. It was genuinely enjoyable to see how we could adapt the Catherine template to perfectly suit Rachel’s unique style and needs.
